I have a long-standing interest in how our past echoes forward into our present. It is evident how critical early development is in terms of our moods, relationships, and distinctive personalities. I have developed tools for working with people to untangle the past from present so that there is more room for transformation in the future.

Background
I received my Doctorate in Psychology from the Graduate School of Professional Psychology. (GSPP) at the University of Denver and completed doctoral and post-doctoral internships at McGill University Health Centre at Montreal General Hospital. Subsequently, I worked for 5 years at Aurora Mental Health Center (AuMHC) and attended the 4 year Adult Psychoanalytic PostGraduate Program at the Denver Institute for Psychoanalysis. I have worked with many diverse people over the past 20 years and continue to feel privileged by the confidences entrusted to me. I actively participate in ongoing education to offer current, research-backed treatment approaches.

Virtual Practice
My practice is entirely virtual. In discussion with past and present clients, I have found that working virtually provides the opportunity to meet with people who are otherwise constrained by work, travel, chronic illness, or tight scheduling. It allows people to sit in their own home, with animal companions, or wherever they feel most comfortable. Most importantly, clients’ feedback and my own experience assures me that meeting virtually preserves and often enhances the connection so important to a therapeutic relationship.
